アナベル

アナベルとは花の名前。花は普遍性と力強さを兼ね備えている。
お店には二人のバイヤーが本当に愛した品物だけが並ぶ。
コンクリート打ちっ放しのスケルトンから内装工事は始まった。
元からあった塗装箇所をバイヤー二人で剥離し、扉には施主様が一年がかりで探した
アンティークを用いた。象徴的なファサードは重厚なスチールで製作し、
試着室には琉球畳を使用した。簡素ながら一つづつ選んだ素材をカンバスに筆を
落とすように時間をかけて設えた。商品を最も良い環境で見ていただくための
舞台をつくることを目指した。

“Annabelle” is a type of flower. Flowers are both universal and powerful. The shop’s proprietor
and apparel clerk stock only products that they truly love. We began our interior construction
work from a skeleton of bare concrete. They removed the original paint from the walls, and
spent one year searching for an antique door for the shop. The shop’s iconic facade is made
of heavy steel, and the fitting rooms use Ryukyu tatami mats. The simple yet carefully selected
materials were placed slowly and deliberately, like putting a brush to a canvas. Our goal was to
create a stage in which each product could be seen in its best environment.
